Ladan found a stick shaped like the letter "J". He was pretty excited... for about 2.4 seconds... and then he threw it right in the river! We had a really great time.
I started Ladan's reading lessons today. We did lesson 1 in Teach Your Child to Read in 100 Easy Lessons by Engelmann, Haddox and Bruner. He did great with the first lesson!

How do you like the book, about how to teach your little one to read? How did you hear about it?

So far the book is good. I can tell you more after we've finished, but I've heard only good things about it from all my friends who have used it with their kids. It seems like they typically use it with their 4-year-olds or kindergarteners. I don't know anyone personally who's used it with a 3-year-old. We'll see how it all pans out.
